About UsOur HistoryNuclear Cardiology Systems, Incorporated (NCS) is a Colorado based corporation dedicated to serving nationwide needs of the medical community. More specifically, NCS has set the trends for nuclear cardiology. NCS is recognized as the world leader in providing complete, accurate, and cost effective high-resolution technology, service, and education. In 1982 Charles H. Rose founded the Institute for Nuclear Medical Education (INME). Since then, INME has provided the education necessary for non-Radiologists and Cardiologists to obtain a license in nuclear cardiology. Attracting more than 10,000 students over the years, INME is the oldest, largest, and most revered licensed program in nuclear cardiology. Throughout the 1980's, considering the extensive knowledge and experience of the NCS staff, students of INME sought additional assistance beyond the classroom thus evolving the company into something more than just a class for aspiring nuclear cardiologists. In order to meet Cardiologist's needs, NCS began specializing in the preparation of license applications, facility design, and health physics/management. To date, more new license applications and license amendments have been submitted through NCS than any other organization. As the educational programs grew and our involvement with Cardiologists increased, the need to evaluate and obtain complete nuclear facilities became evident. Thus, NCS began its first entry into the equipment business with the CardioCam and, later, the CardioSPECT systems. Utilizing the best of the previously owned systems, NCS began its production of remanufactured systems. These cameras and computers were often included in complete turn-key facilities nationwide. Over time NCS developed the CardioMAC computer system specifically designed for use in a nuclear cardiology facility. CardioMAC and the upgraded CardioPowerMAC became the standard computer systems in the industry. These systems had the ability to match the resolution of the gamma camera itself using Resolution Matched Matrix (RM2) technology. NCS has used this technology to provide superior image resolution that is still unmatched by any other system. As technology evolves, so do the NCS computer systems and cameras. The state-of-the-art CardioSight computer system offers a Windows XP-based solution to nuclear imaging. NCS now proudly offers a new complete line of computer systems and gamma cameras that focus on the entire nuclear cardiology market. NCS is poised to continue exponential growth as the leader of the nuclear cardiology field. NCS now provides for all nuclear cardiology needs including education, facility design, licensing, equipment service, consulting, and financing. NCS provides stationary and mobile systems as well as complete turn-key facilities. The establishment and operation of imaging centers in full compliance with all ethical and legal standards is offered by NCS. NCS is Nuclear Cardiology. Our LeadershipNC Systems, Inc. has accumulated more clinical management experience than the combined experience of all other organizations. The management services specialize in cardiology and only NC Systems, Inc. fully understands the ramifications of referral modalities such as nuclear cardiology on the professional/financial health of a practice. Clients may contract for several levels of management consultation. These range from a total management review of the practice through specific aspects of practice management. Some of the areas of expertise addressed are:
The other specific services or modifications of the outlined services may be made to meet the needs of the specific site. In some situations, consultation in managment areas may be contracted for a small percent of the revenue saved/generated by those services. |
